Mammoth Mountain RV ParkOur time in the mountains has been the time of renewal we both needed. Bob seems so relaxed and in such good spirits and I believe the same can be said for me. I try not to think that we have only a day left before we must pack up and set out for home. I want to stop time and stay put in this easy life forever, but I know that is impossible.I have spent my time walking the dogs, soaking in the sunshine, and enjoying the majestic mountains that surround us. Bob has been our Grill Master and I am growing spoiled on hamburgers, hot dogs, steaks, and salmon; all broiled to perfection by him.We promised selfishly to make this trip a time to relax, to work on projects of interest, and to enjoy each others company. So far I have completed Memory Book pages for the twins, and Bob has read his email, updated a blog, and organized videos. We have spent time in the park’s jacuzzi and ignored the unheated swimming pool.Already I am looking forward to next years trip to my beloved mountains, but meanwhile home awaits with many projects to keep both of us busy.. |

Peter,
I have just figured out RSS and Feed so now I get alerts to when you have posted. Poor Judy, she has competition now as to who will be first to comment. LOL
Hi Maria, sorry I’ve not been to visit lately, your posts are not appearing on my reader, sounds like you had your very own Chuck on this trip
you have also beaten Judy with a comment
I agree with Grannymar the time you and Bob spend together has to be so very precious.
Time together. How fortunate you are to have a soulmate to share meals, walks and quiet times with. I love to see couples happy and sharing. I get annoyed when I see couples bickering or far to busy to spend time together. Each day is precious. It is so important to live in the moment.
I am so at peace in these mountains. When I think about it, my love affair with the Sierra Mountains has gone on for at least forty years. My fondest memories are back-packing with my boys when they were young.
Looks like you’re having fun
